There are no reserve dispensaries in Toronto itself. The nearest sit on Six Nations of the Grand River, roughly 80 km southwest — closer to an hour and a quarter than a quick errand. Whether that drive makes sense depends on where in the GTA you start and how much you are buying.

Which direction to drive
From the west end — Etobicoke, Mississauga, the 427 corridor — Six Nations is the clear answer at about 73 km, straight down the QEW and Highway 6. From downtown it is roughly 82 km. Six Nations is also by far the largest cluster we list anywhere, so selection is not close: 58 shops against 14 at Alderville and a single one at Rama.
From the east end the picture changes and it is worth knowing. From Scarborough, Six Nations is about 100 km, Alderville about 101 km, and Rama about 98 km — effectively a tie. If you are east of the Don Valley, Alderville near Roseneath is the same drive as Six Nations, up the 401 and north from Cobourg rather than southwest around the lake.
The trade is selection against distance. Six Nations has four times the shops; Alderville is a smaller, quieter cluster where a higher share of shops deliver locally.
A word about the shops across the border
Search radius maps will show you dispensaries about 61 km from downtown Toronto, closer than anything on this page. Those are on Tuscarora Nation and Cattaraugus, and they are in New York State. They are real shops and they are genuinely that close as the crow flies, but reaching them means an international border crossing, and cannabis cannot legally cross it in either direction.
We do not count them as Toronto options for that reason. Every distance on this page is to a Canadian shop you can actually drive to and back from in a day.
Is the drive worth it
Reserve shops sit outside the provincial excise and wholesale markup structure, which is why the price gap is real rather than promotional. For a single pre-roll it will not cover the gas from Toronto. For a larger buy, or a trip a few people split, it usually does — which is why the traffic we see from Toronto skews toward people planning a run rather than looking for something open now.
Local delivery from these clusters generally does not reach central Toronto, so plan on the drive or on mail order.
