Delete your RezWeed account

A RezWeed account is optional. Browsing the directory, the map, store listings, hours, menus and deals never requires one. If you did create an account, you can delete it yourself at any time, and you do not need to contact us to do it.

How to delete your account

1. Open the RezWeed app, or go to rezweed.com in a browser.
2. Sign in to the account you want to remove, then open your account page.
3. Scroll to the “Delete account” section at the bottom of that page.
4. Choose Delete my account, then confirm with Yes, delete everything.

Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone. You will be signed out once it finishes.

What is deleted

• Your sign-in identity, including your email address and any linked Google sign-in.
• Your saved favourite stores.
• Your shopper profile and any preferences stored against it.

These are erased at the time you confirm. There is no retention period and no recovery window.

What is kept, and why

• Directory contributions. If you submitted a new store, claimed a listing, or suggested a correction, the resulting listing information stays in the public directory. Those entries describe businesses rather than you, and other people rely on them being accurate.
• Aggregate traffic analytics. We keep counts of page views and interactions. These carry a rotating identifier derived from a salted hash, not your account, so once the account is gone there is nothing left tying them to you.
• Records we are required to keep. Anything we must retain to comply with law, or to resolve a dispute or abuse report, is kept only for as long as that purpose requires.

Store owner and business accounts

Accounts with store, brand, or staff access cannot be self-deleted, because they may own listings that other people depend on. Email hello@rezweed.com from the account’s email address and we will close it and hand off or retire the listings it owns.

Deleting some data without deleting your account

You can remove individual favourites at any time from your favourites page, without deleting the account itself. For anything else, email hello@rezweed.com and tell us what you want removed.
